About the Event

PARKING AT Chino Hills Community Center 14250 Peyton Dr, Chino Hills, CA 91709

Hike starts at 8:30am

-Meeting in the Chino Hills Community Center Park under the gazebo at 8am

- We will be hiking at the McCoy loop.

We will have documentation and forms that you can use to submit toward your AKC fit dog title should you wish. More information about that here ->

Reminders:

-No leash greetings allowed without the owner’s direct permission.

-No nose-to-nose greetings

-No dogs in heat!

-No retractable leashes!

Please bring:

• Collapsible water bottle for your dog

• Ice water for you and your dog

• Dog treats

• Poop bags (we recommend -> https://byndgrn.com/pages/100-beyondgreen-dog-waste-bags

• Sunscreen

• Slip lead or prong collar if your dog needs

 Distance- 3.3 Miles (We'll stop at the one mile marker for a break) Difficulty Rating- Easy to Moderate Cumulative Elevation Gain- 410 ft. Time Estimate- 1.5 hour for beginner

CGC Testing will be avaible after the walk!! 

CGC testing will be available after the walk around 10/10:30 am. To sign up for testing email Daisy at daisyarenas43@gmail.com. The testing fee is $20 (cash/zelle/venmo). This does not include the AKC processing fee. Dogs should wear well-fitting buckle or slip collars made of leather, fabric, or chain. They may also wear body harnesses for the CGC test.
